What type of bedding do you suggest for Stall Mattresses?  We love the cushy stall floor and know we do not need to use as much bedding.  Would love to hear what you suggest and how deep.

Hi Shelley, this is a question we get asked often.  With the stall mattress, you will typically use less bedding because you don't need extra depth for comfort, but you should still bed with the right depth for absorbency and ammonia control.

I would recommend pellets or mini flake which allows you to go with less depth ( less bags) but still absorbs quickly to control odor and ammonia.  You'll use less bedding because the pellet/mini flake requires less product for maintenance.   This makes a great combination with the stall mattress.
